Description

Ingredients: Khoya is made from full-fat milk, which is simmered and reduced until most of the water content evaporates, leaving behind the concentrated milk solids.

Preparation: The preparation of khoya involves heating full-fat milk in a large, heavy-bottomed pan. The milk is simmered over low heat, and as it reduces, the milk solids gradually thicken. The continuous stirring prevents the milk solids from sticking and burning.

Once the milk has reduced significantly and the moisture content has evaporated, the khoya is ready. It is then allowed to cool before being used in various Indian sweets
